Recruitment, Screening, and Interviewing
Procopio and Associates has experience locating and placing qualified employees for both large and small-scale projects since 1994. By doing our homework and spending extra time up front, we find the best fit for the position. Our intense recruitment, screening, interview and selection process involves a minimum of three interviews, as well as skill testing and thorough background checks. Procopio’s skill testing utilizes validated and interactive measurement tools to determine if our candidate has the skill level needed to correctly do the job.
Performance Assessments
We take our employees’ performance seriously and work hard to monitor and improve their performance. We aim to provide our clients with the best service possible, so Procopio offers staff with background in Employee Performance Assessment and Improvement.
While most companies create generic performance assessments to use on all employees, ours is more thorough. Procopio, (with client input) creates an assessment tailored for each specific position that is measurable in order to direct each employee to better performance.
A well-informed employee is a better-performing employee, so we make sure each is aware of the expectations placed on them at the start of employment. At the onset, we sit down and review their specific tasks and the assessment used to evaluate their performance.
After an employee has been on the job for ninety days, we complete a performance assessment to ascertain that they’re on track and fulfilling the required project goals. If no issues are uncovered at the ninety day review, we then conduct an annual performance evaluation. A performance improvement plan and a 6-month performance evaluation is done if any evaluation falls short of the intended goal.
Certified Staffing Professionals
Procopio management team are certified as Staffing Professionals (CSP) through the American Staffing Association. As Certified Staffing Professionals, they adhere to an established code of ethics and best practices. This includes rigorous training in staffing and labor laws, helping to protect us and our clients from unnecessary litigation. In addition, all CSP’s must maintain their certification by attending continuing education classes that keep them apprised of the latest changes in employment law.
Management Availability
At Procopio, our job just begins when we place an employee on a client’s site. Suzette Procopio personally guarantees that a member of our management team will visit the project on a regular basis, frequently stopping by to touch base with our employees and assess job satisfaction. Further, we conduct regular on-site visits with our clients to ensure our employees continue to provide quality service and meet the team’s goals. That frequent communication is, in our experience, the best way to provide quality service. It’s also why a member of our management team can be reached 24 hours a day to handle any questions or issues. When problems arise, the client can depend on us to fix it as part of their team, willing and able to take responsibility for our employees.
